OK Policy to host community listening sessions | Summer 2024

TAKE THE 2024 LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES SURVEY

Missed your chance to attend a community listening session? Take a few minutes to answer our legislative priorities survey and weigh in on future of state policy. Survey closes September 15, 2024.

The Oklahoma Policy Institute, along with its grassroots advocacy program Together Oklahoma, will host eight in-person listening sessions this summer in towns and cities across the state.

These listening sessions provide an opportunity for the public to have conversations with fellow citizens and policy experts about issues that matter most in their communities. The sessions will be held throughout July and August. Listening sessions are free and open to the public. Participants will be compensated (in-person events only).

All Oklahomans are invited to come share concerns, view statewide data, and chat with policy experts about improvements they would like to see. The sessions are hosted by Oklahoma Policy Institute and Together Oklahoma.

OK Policy is a non-partisan independent policy research organization that advances equitable and fiscally responsible policies. Together OK is a nonpartisan coalition of citizens working together to secure a robust future for our state.

“Our listening sessions are a great way to hear directly from community members about what matters to them most,” said OK Policy’s Legislative and Outreach Director Angela Monson. “We work to ensure that everyday Oklahomans can have their concerns heard by our elected officials and policymakers.”
