Join our growing team: We’re hiring a Northeast Oklahoma Field Organizer!

Join our growing team! Oklahoma Policy Institute seeks to hire a part-time field organizer for northeast Oklahoma to support the work of our grassroots advocacy citizen coalition, Together Oklahoma (TOK). 

The new hire will join our TOK outreach team including senior field organizer, Kyle Lawson, and southwest field organizer, Jacobi Crowley.

Field organizers will support advocacy in their region around Together Oklahoma’s priority issues. Organizers will work to expand the TOK membership base, support volunteer leaders, and equip and train individuals for effective advocacy. Organizers will develop local outreach strategies and convey policy information throughout their region in an engaging and empowering way.

Applicants should live in or near one of the following counties: Tulsa, Payne, Rogers, Washington, Cherokee, Muskogee, Wagoner, Mayes, Delaware.

Sabine Brown joined the Oklahoma Policy Institute as an Infrastructure and Access Senior Policy Analyst in January 2022. She previously worked at OK Policy from January 2018 until September 2020 as the Outreach and Legislative Director, and received a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa. Before joining OK Policy she served as the Oklahoma Chapter Leader for Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. Sabine also earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Health Science from the University of Oklahoma and was a physician assistant prior to discovering advocacy work. She grew up in Germany but has called Oklahoma home since 1998.
